POSITION SUMMARY
Efficiently manage all aspects of guest check-ins, including confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and activating room keys. Handle various payment types, such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Ensure smooth check-out processes, addressing any late or disputed charges. Attend to and process guest calls, messages, requests, questions, and concerns. Collaborate with Housekeeping to monitor room readiness for check-in. Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors and coordinate bell staff or valet staff as needed. Provide guests with directions and information about the property and local areas of interest. Generate daily reports on arrivals and departures, address special requests, and verify report accuracy. Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system. Process guests' personal checks and traveler's checks. Conduct bank reconciliation at the start and end of the shift. Maintained balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager. Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional uniform and appearance. Uphold confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation. Communicate with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Cultivate and sustain positive working relationships with colleagues. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period, move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
