Job Details:

  • Minimum 36 hours per week, maximum 48 hours per week
  • Hourly wage: $29.66 (minimum) - $35.00 (maximum)
  • Overtime rate: $45.00 per hour
  • Preference for New Zealand citizens and residents


Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading vehicles using lifting and tipping devices
  • Adhering to safety protocols during loading and unloading
  • Regular quality checks of vehicles for safe operation
  • Ensuring secure stowage of goods to prevent loss or damage
  • Verification of loading documents and certification of deliveries
  • Following customer site requirements
  • Customer service skills and effective communication with customers, staff, and management
  • Completion of administrative tasks, including timesheets and logbook entries
  • Estimating weights to comply with load limitations
  • Safely operating both auto and manual transmission vehicles, including road ranger
  • Ability to stay away from home in the truck for multiple nights when required

POSITION SUMMARY
