Job Overview:
Simon Express LLC is looking for an experienced and skilled CDL Class A Flatbed Driver to join our team in Houston. In this role, you will operate a flatbed truck with a Moffett forklift attached to the back, transporting building materials on pallets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a flatbed truck and forklift to transport and deliver building materials.
- Perform route driving duties, including loading, unloading, and delivering goods.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after each trip.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the truck.
- Communicate with dispatchers and follow delivery schedules accurately.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating a flatbed truck and forklift.
- Ability to safely load and unload materials.
- Strong knowledge of freight transport procedures.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive pay of $300 per day, with potential for additional earnings based on experience and performance.
