Role Overview:
Lindsay Australia is hiring dedicated local HC Drivers to join our Coffs Harbour depot team and handle pickup and delivery services. Local drivers are responsible for safely transporting customer goods, including loading, unloading, and ensuring freight security. Full-time and casual roles are open, with various weekly shift options. Please specify your preferred employment type in your application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling temperature-sensitive produce for local delivery runs.
- Ensuring safe and timely transport of company freight.
- Completing pre-start checklists, safety documentation, and delivery paperwork using in-vehicle technology.
- Interacting professionally with clients.
- Collaborating with depot teams on loading, unloading, and transporting freight.
About You:
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- A valid HC license (MC license is advantageous).
- Familiarity with freight documentation and in-cab data systems.
- A commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Strong customer focus and communication skills.
- Professionalism, reliability, and good presentation.
- A forklift license is a plus but not required.
Prior experience in refrigerated transport is highly valued.
Requirements:
- Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment, including a drug and alcohol test.
- Provide a current traffic record.
- Flexibility for weekend shifts and varying start/finish times.
